Getting your test results

If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will contact you.

Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:

in your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
phone on 01296 658585 or visit us between 10am to 4pm and we will tell you what the results are

Questions about your results

If you want to talk to someone about your results, fill out our test results request form and someone will be in touch.

EMAILING PATIENTS POLICY

Email has become a pivotal source of communication in today’s society. Waddesdon Surgery has introduced an email service to enable patients to receive results from the practice via email.

Due to the insecure nature of the internet, limits have to be placed on the type of communication that will be permitted. The email service is limited to patients who have consented to the conditions of use.

PURPOSE OF THE EMAIL SERVICE

The email service will be available to all patients at Waddesdon Surgery and will be managed by the Practice Manager, Deputy Manager and Reception Team

The email service is limited to the following:
- Results
HOW DOES THE EMAIL SERVICE WORK?

In order to communicate with patients via email we require:
- The consent box to be ticked on the test result request form
- The form to be signed electronically
PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patients should use their unique identifier when responding to any emails.
- Patients must inform the practice of a change in email address immediately.
- Emails received from Waddesdon Surgery must not be forwarded to anyone else.
- Patients are responsible for frequently checking their emails to ensure important information is not missed. It is possible that emails may go to the spam folder and this should also be checked.

Emails are sent over the internet and as such are not secure. By agreeing and signing this form you are accepting this risk.
