We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

COVID Booster Clinics

Waddesdon Surgery is coming to the end of its involvement in the COVID Booster campaign. The last clinic will be held at Waddesdon surgery on Sunday the 12th of December.

Invites are continually being sent to all eligible patients and we are still focusing on our patients who are immunosuppressed, at higher risk and housebound.

We are aware that the guidance has changed and that you can have your booster much sooner, however we only have limited capacity in our clinics and we will fill them as we move down the priority cohorts and age ranges.

We appreciate that there will still be a number of patients requiring their booster vaccines and that some of you may be disappointed that you are unable to have this with us. We apologise for this, but hope you can appreciate that we have to balance the impact these clinics have on our workforce and appointment availability as we enter the winter months.

COVID vaccine appointments will continue to be available at alternative sites and we are expecting capacity to increase locally.  You can access these via the online booking service: Book or manage your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination – NHS (www.nhs.uk) or if you are unable to access online by calling 119.

Waddesdon Patients Service Update

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

Access

The surgery is on the ground floor, if you require assistance, please ring the doorbell or advise the receptionist when booking your appointment and we will be pleased to help.

Reception Privacy

If you wish to discuss a matter in private please inform the reception staff and a room will be made available away from the reception area.

Feedback

We would like your feedback on the care or treatment we give you any time you visit your GP or have contact with the practice. We aim to be responsive to patients' needs and welcome any feedback or suggestions.
