NHS Breast Screening Programme

The NHS Breast Screening Programme saves around 1300 lives every year.

If you are eligible for breast screening, you will soon receive an invitation for your routine mammogram.

Breast screening is an important way of looking after your health and can help detect breast cancer early, sometimes before you notice any changes or symptoms. We strongly encourage you to attend your appointment when you are invited. Please keep an eye out for your invitation and make time to attend your screening appointment.
